WHO WE ARE
Joshua Care International has been making a difference in the Philippines since 2005. We are a non-profit organisation based in Brisbane, founded by Sharon Del Valle. Joshua Care's focus is to reach out to underprivileged children and their families with medical, physical and education provisions. Our main area of outreach, are to the people living in Bagumbayan and the surrounding areas of Taguig in the Metro Manila area of The Philippines. Our mission is helping children to climb out of poverty with honesty, integrity and compassion. Our Vision is to see these children and their families reach their full potential.
When you look at the need, it can overwhelm you to the point of thinking what’s the point of doing anything at all? Does my small donation or my sponsorship for just one child really make a difference? The answer is YES, it does! We can’t do everything, but we can all do something.
We believe there is power in collective and intentional action when people are united in love and a just cause. Change is within our reach. Let’ s all have more compassion for the lost, more hope for the future, more vision for what God wants to do, more heart for His people. When all is said and done, all that matters is LOVE so let love take over. Let’s never tire of doing the work of God here on the earth together.
