January 2021 Update: A New Year Begins

THE VISION IS THE SAME

Friends! A new year begins with hope for the future. We have been thinking about all the children whose lives were changed by Joshua Care through the support of the JCI sponsors & supporters. “So let us not grow weary in doing good for in due season we will reap the harvest”. Too many children still have no home, no parents to guide them and no one to love them. The JCI team is filled with compassion for these children and once again they are inspired by the word which says, “Defend the weak and the Fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor; Rescue the abused and neglected” Psalm 82.3.  Friends, “The fields are white unto harvest but the labourers are few”. Who will go? Lord send me!!

JCI will reach out to more children this year. One by one, together we can make a difference. Jesus Loves the little children. He is a Father to the Fatherless.

GOOD NEWS STORY

Meet John and his sister Erika who were left orphaned when their mother died. Their father has also left the home and the two teenagers had to fend for themselves. With the help and support of JCI John has finally finished his Diploma in Civil Engineering. Erika is studying grade 10 at MMCA. Last year they were struggling to meet their basic needs. Today John is employed and he is able to support his sister too. They buy food and personal items needed and he has also started a savings plan.  Thank you to our sponsors who faithfully commit to supporting children like John & Erika. John & Sandy Nicholls, Roy & Jean Fuller and Raisa & Birger Eliasson. Thank you for your kindness to John & Erika. Together we are making a difference!! God Bless you more.
